3. What is the NCLOR? • Online centralized searchable database that stores teaching resources • Provides a centralized location for the acquisition, contribution, and management of quality learning resources • Integration of Blackboard and Moodle learning management systems

The subjects included in the new flexbooks series are Algebra, Biology, Physics, Calculus, Chemistry, Engineering, and Statistics.

Over 1000 learning objects that include subjects ranging from Anatomy and Physiology to Technical Physics are available in this series. There is also a large collection of Health related learning objects as well.

Some of the geometry topics included in this series are angles, parallel lines, triangles and quadrilaterals.

Total items available: 194 Resource Example: World War and Society in the 20th Century: World War II Harvard Open Learning Initiative The Harvard Extension School’s Open Learning Initiative resource series includes 8 noncredit courses featuring Harvard faculty. The series is comprised of courses in disciplines such as: the classics, English, computer science, mathematics and history. All courses include lectures videos but some may include links to lecture notes and/or problem sets.
