  4. Strategic Goal A:Advance Student Access, Equity, and Success • Achieved Enrollment Target. • Completed Successful Accreditation Self Study. • Achieved goal of increased student persistence.

Strategic Goal B:Engage Community Partners • Community Organizations: Cypress-Mandela: The Workforce Collaborative, The Unity Council, Labor. • Corporate: Bank of America, Give Something Back, Trade and Logistics companies, CHORI. • Workforce Development Agencies: Alameda County WIB, Oakland WIB, Oakland PIC, Richmond WIB, Contra Costa WIB. • Other Education Agencies: OUSD, AUSD, Cal State East Bay, Charter Schools, UC Berkeley, Contra Costa Community College District.

Strategic Goal C:Build Programs of Distinction- Complete Educational Master Plans and Resource Master Plans • Educational Master Plans completed for BCC, Merritt and College of Alameda, ( Laney to complete by December 2009). • Resource Master Plans to be completed and presented to Committees through new Planning and Budgeting Integration Model.

  9. Strategic Goal E:Develop Resources to Advance and Sustain Our Mission • The Goal was to increase non-general fund money to be twice what it was in 07-08. (contract education, funds from fundraising, international tuition, out-of–state tuition, grant money, etc.) • The goal was met and exceeded. Went from Just over $8 million in non-general fund money to over $20 million.
