Remove the HP Officejet pro 9020 printer from the box. • Lift the scanner lid of HP Officejet 9020, remove the packing materials from the scanner lid, and then close the lid.
Also, remove the packing materials from the exterior part. • Now, plug the power cord to the rear of the printer and the electrical outlet. • When the HP 9020 doesn’t turn on immediately, press the Power button on the printer.
After turning on the HP 9020 printer, set the preferences on its control panel. • Choose your preferred country, language, and then click the Confirm option. • Open the front door of the HP Officejet Pro 9020 printer.
Now, open the ink cartridge access door of HP Officejet Pro 9020 Printer Setup. Wait until the carriage stops moving. • Take the new ink cartridges from the box and insert it into their slots. • Always hold the black plastics of the ink cartridges and insert them.
Now, close the cartridge door and then the printer door. • On the HP Officejet Pro 9020 printer’s control panel, click OK. • Now pull the input tray out and load plain papers in it.
Adjust the paper guides until the edges of the paper rest on it properly. • Insert the input tray back into your printer. • On your HP Officejet Pro 9020 Setup’s control panel, click the OK option.
When prompted to align the printhead, click the OK option. • Open the scanner lid. Place the scannable paper with the face down on the engraved glass. • Close the scanner lid now and then click the Scan option. The printer is all set to use now.
