When we travel, we spend a lot of time at the airport, especially when flying to overseas places, where we arrive three hours before departure. In my situation, I always have an extra hour on hand to prevent huge lines. As a result, I frequently spend my spare time at the food court, chowing down on McDonald's chicken nuggets. However, while on my way to the United States, I decided to take a tour around Terminal 3 of IGI Airport Delhi, which lead me to several interesting locations. The Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi is India's busiest and largest airport. There are numerous restaurants, cafes, shops, and lounges at the airport to keep you entertained during your flight. Here's a list of things to do in Delhi's IGI Airport.
Things you can do at Indira Gandhi airport to pass time Take a nap at the sleeping pod We understand how difficult it is to sleep in an airport with so much activity going on around you. It becomes even more challenging for those who arrive late. As a result, Sam's Snooze at My Space is your new hangout spot at the airport. It allows guests to sleep for an hourly fee, which typically ranges from 500 to 700 INR for single and double occupancy. The pod is equipped with all of the amenities found in a hotel and provides passengers with comfort and convenience. T3 International - Departure Location
Visit the Oxy Pure oxygen bar The first and only oxygen bar at an Indian airport, Oxy Pure, is a new addition to the airport. The bar provides 15-minute sessions of "pure oxygen" laced with scents such as lemongrass and lavender. The price of odorless pure oxygen starts at 299 INR and goes up from there. The price, however, varies depending on the scent. If you're experiencing travel anxiety, come to this location to relax.
Shop at Delhi Duty Free Delhi Duty Free is India's largest duty-free shopping destination, including imported liquor, beauty and wellness products, chocolates, and a variety of other items available duty-free. The store is located in both the departure and arrival terminals at Delhi Airport. You can review the website catalogue and pre-order products before your trip and pick up the package at the airport if you want to save time browsing through the huge list of items. Don't forget to look for lucrative BOGO offers and other discounts while you're out shopping.
Eat at food court One of anyone’s favourite things to do at the airport is eat at the food court. There are a variety of cuisines to choose from, ranging from Chinese to American fast food. McDonald's Happy Meal is my all-time favourite. If you want a more intimate setting, visit a cafe or a pub such as The Irish House or Delhi Capitals Sports Bar.
Shop books from WHSmith If you're a voracious reader, WHSmith has a huge selection of half-priced books, magazines, encyclopaedias, and more. You can also get fantastic bargains on chocolates and other things in their confectionary area. I normally check for travel guides for the city I'm visiting, which usually turn out to be an excellent airline for my flight.
