A long layover in a strange airport can be very annoying. You're in luck because New Delhi consistently ranks among the finest in Asia, in great part because of its brand-new Terminal 3. To help you make the most of your time, we've put together a list of activities you can do while you have a layover at New Delhi Airport. Things to do at the airport Enjoy a proper meal Choose from a variety of eateries, cafes, and pubs to start your layover with a meal. The newest terminal, international airport terminal 3, has the greatest selection, although either of the previous two terminals won't leave you wanting. A variety of Indian dishes are available, along with Chinese, French, and Italian selections. Choose from a variety of Indian tea cafes to sample traditional chai, or go for American fast food franchises like Starbucks, Subway, McDonald's, KFC, and more.
Enjoy shopping You won't run out of places to check out whether you just browse the shops or spend a lot. All three terminals provide convenience stores, Duty Free zones, and shops that sell electronics, travel essentials, souvenirs, and other items, however Terminal 3 has the most luxurious boutiques.
Relax yourself in airport lounge Looking for a place where you can get food, drinks, WiFi, and a peaceful environment all in one location? A lounge at the airport is your best bet! No matter your airline or flight class, many lounges in this city provide access to all travellers, so you can fly Economy Class and pay an entrance fee. You can even reserve private day rooms and showers at some locations. Simply pre-book your visit online or use your lounge membership programme.
Relax and pamper yourself at the spa Relax yourself from all the airport security stress with a spa or massage treatment from Heaven on Earth Spa Express at Terminal 1D and Terminal 3’s O2 Spa. Sleep Travellers should have little trouble taking naps or setting up camp overnight due to nonstop departures. The most comfortable location in Security is Terminal 3, which has couches in the main shopping area, lots of armrest-free sitting, and carpeting for sprawling out on (though some travellers have reported being asked to stay off the carpet). Bring earplugs and eye protection with you because the airport is fairly noisy and well-lit. Holiday Inn Express and in-transit sleeping pods, both in Terminal 3, are options for travellers who prefer to pay for a more typical sleeping experience. There are also three Plaza Premium Lounges that offer the option to rent private day rooms. There are a few more hotels close to or at the airport.
