  3. One day a fox took a walk in the woods.

  4. The fox saw a crow in a tree. The crow had a tiny and tasty smelling piece of cheese in her beak. Mmh! That smells tasty. IGINYIS’INGWIQI.

  5. The fox wanted that piece of cheese. She had to think of a way to get the crow to drop it. He looked at the crow and said:- Wow! Look at that beautiful bird. It is so gorgeous.

  6. The crow puffed herself up with pride and the fox continued to talk. NDIFUNG’IIMPUNGUTYE! If that bird could sing, she would be the queen of all birds. Yes! The queen of all birds. Only if she could sing.

  7. The crow really wanted to be known as queen of all birds, so she opened her beak and let out the caw. Unfortunately, she also let out the tiny piece of cheese. The poor crow watched the tiny piece of cheese dropping into the fox’s mouth. Grwa-a, grwa-a-a.

  8. The fox swallowed and said:- Hha! That was deliciously cheesy and surprisingly easy. IBILUNCUTHU MAZANGWA.

  9. The crow realised that she had learned a very, very, very big lesson:- BEWARE OF FLATTERERS—people who say nice things about you as a trick, just to get something from you.
