Let’s have some fun while we review what we have learned. You will need three players and a person to host the show. Each player must select the celebrity artist he or she would like to be. You can select Leonardo da Vinci, Georgia O’Keefe or Andy Warhol. The host must print out the JeopARTyRounds sheets. These are PDF files so you must have Adobe Reader to view them. Each player should be given two pieces of paper and a pencil for the Final question.Read the directions carefully! The scorekeeping has to be done manually, directly onto the podiums belonging to our three celebrity contestants. After each question and answer of the round, click on the “Scores” icon in the lower right corner to get back to the contestants. Enter or deduct the points earned or lost in the black box on the correct podium. Watch your math!!! Cross of the $ category on your JeopARTyRounds sheets as they are called. To begin the Round or to get back to the Round, look for the Round 1 or Round 2 icon in the upper left corner of the contestants’ screen. To begin the game, select Round 1. You are now looking at the game board. The host reads the category titles aloud. Decide which player will go first. The first contestant selects a category and a dollar amount. Click on the $ amount box you would like to try. The box gives you the answer. You must come up with the correct question. Remember your answers MUST be in question form. For example, What is...?, Who…?, etc.
The host has the final say on all questions. It will also be necessary for the host to print out a copy of the gameboard JeopARTyRounds. He or she will have to manually cross out the boxes already selected as the computer will not show which answers have already been played. Complete all the answers in Round 1 before going on to Round 2. You may wish to take a break before beginning the second round. When both rounds have been completed, it will be time for the Final question. On the contestants’ screen click on the Final icon. The host should read the category aloud. All the players should write on a piece of paper the amount they would like to bet. You may bet all or part of your earnings. Fold the paper up and keep in front of you until after you finish your turn. On another piece of paper, write down the question to the Final answer. Keep this hidden until it is your turn to reveal your answer. When everyone is done writing their question, the host reveals the answer. Each player in turn, beginning with the one with the smallest earnings, reads out his or her question. Next, reveal the amount you bet. This will be added, if you answered correctly, or deducted, if you answered incorrectly, from your total by the host. Good Luck and enjoy the game!
