  2. to the new "FreeLock" pedals, or rather special pedals, which are developed and designed in the Czech Republic, but are also made in our country! For those who don't want to have their feet bent on classic pedals in sneakers and thus stress their arch, but would like to take advantage of the rigid sole of cycling shoes. But without having to fight with the sliding of their soles on a normal pedal, or fearing being trapped in an epeded. Freelock pedals completely abandon the idea of snapping the stopper into some mechanism and follow the natural instinct of all cyclists, i.e. taking the foot off the pedal upwards. The entire construction is ingeniously simple and consists of a separate pedal axis that rotates on a pair of industrial bearings, located in housings on the inside and outside of the axis. There is a cap on the outside, and there is a flat for a 15mm wrench on the inside. The body of the pedal then consists of a pair of composite parts, forming a kind of axis sleeve and connected by a pair of Allen screws. While the lower part hides a metal insert to increase the weight and thus keep the opposite tread surface always on top, the upper one is light and equipped with only a pair of stainless steel plates to increase abrasion resistance.
