2. About us Kilimanjaro Vikings is made up of a group of experienced guides, working together to organize mountain treks and safaris. They climb with their clients, thereby guaranteeing the safest and most enjoyable trek possible at a great value. Charlie Richard, the owner of the company takes a personal role in making sure his clients are well taken care of and getting everything they expect and deserve. He personally organizes each adventure…whether it be to the bush, to the mountains or to the beach. As an experienced mountain guide himself, he personally accompanies his guests on the mountain and in the bush. His brand of customer service is one that comes from having worked with and been trained by some of foremost outfitters in the region. He has honed his craft and it shows.

3. Our Team • Charlie Richard is born in Marangu Village which is situated on the slopes of Mountain Kilimanjaro. He worked in several tour companies before he started his own tour company. He first started as a porter, after couple of years he managed to become an assistant guide and later on a guide, after working for a long time as a guide he decided to open Kilimanjaro Vikings. He still climbs the mountain up to these days due to his love of the mountain. He holds the advanced diploma of tourism thus giving him the knowledge to arrange some of the best African safaris. With Kilimanjaro Vikings everyday of your adventure will be a joyful day, you are all welcome to explore the nature of Tanzania with the best.

6. Itineraries This route approaches Kilimanjaro from the west and is nearly identical to the Lemosho Route. In fact, Shira was the original Lemosho route in this western side of the mountain.
