How to Easily Install T8 4ft LED Tubes?

Sometimes people get really confused in installing t8 4ft LED Tubes, these single ended tube lights don't require any driver as it has already installed inside the tube, whereas it does require the non-shunted tombstone to be operational.

To get the best tube, Visit Our Website-https://ledmyplace.ca/collections/led-tubes

 1. What to Do When your’s 4ft t8 LED tubEs ArE singLE-EnDED? At A gLAncE the 4ft LED tubes that are an energy-efficient solution to flickering, slow- start, more energy-consuming fluorescent tubes may come either as single- ended or double-ended. This infographic deals with the most common challenge that an user encounters during the installation of single-ended tubes. How to wirE tHE singLE-EnDED 4ft LED tubE? When installing the single-ended 4ft T8 LED tubes, the biggest challenge users face is -- when it’s direct wiring of the tube to the line source instead of plug-n-play method of installation. Such installations are often called as ballast-bypass, direct-wire or hard-wire installations. In the direct-wire ballast-bypass 4ft T8 LED tube, no driver is required because of its presence internally inside the tube. Now, the challenge during direct wiring is the the type of socket inside the existing fluorescent tube fixture. If the fluorescent tube is having a non-shunted socket, wiring doesn’t need any replacement of the socket. But, if it’s a shunted socket, it must be replaced with a non-shunted type for the single-ended 4ft T8 LED tube to operate appropriately. The most important thing to know and understand here is while the dual-ended 4ft LED tubes could work well with the shunted sockets of fluorescent tubes to complete the circuit, the single-ended ones can only work with the tubes having non-shunted tombstones. The last step involves removing the fluorescent tube with enough care. Then, removing of the ballast cover and the ballast. Once the ballast is bypassed, you must rewire the electrical supply to single-ends of the 4ft T8 LED tube.
