  1.  The cost of Indian cotton is seeing unusual increase amid this peak landing season. While the cost of cotton is getting high throughout the world, the cotton demand in India is not dwindling though there is a steady rise in the prices in the Textile industry.

  2.  As provided details on 23rd January 2017, Spot costs of Sankar-6 and MCU-5 assortments are about Rupees 42,500 and 44,000 separately each (355.6 Kilograms).

  3. ➢Right now, it is the season for cotton in India, yet the new stocks have not moved than the similar period last season comparatively. While blooming was not that great, the climate was not the reason behind this, as it has been sensible for cotton amid the developing season. ➢ The primary reasons due to the Indian government's current banknote demonetization strategy and the trading issues. All the three distinct sources who are into cotton advertising, buying and spinning gave similar statements behind the sudden increment in cotton costs.

  4. ➢The general director of a famous spinning mill in South India, Cotton yarn manufacturers with 65,000 rings, expressed that his organization secures around 40,000 bales (170 Kgs each) of cotton every year at a general price of about 60Crores (Rupees 600 million). Since December, the cost has expanded by about Rupees 4,000 per bag.

  5. ➢As per statistics from spinning mills, the yarn costs are steady and there is interest for yarns and made-up merchandise, like blankets in export sectors. Varieties such as Egyptian cotton sheets are high in demand.

  6. ➢This builds the interest for cotton and there is price high in the cost of cotton. Tencel yarn manufacturers and Gizza cotton suppliers can be expect a high volume of business as it is in high demand.
