  1. The Latino Voice In America – Not A Whisper All over the world migration from one region to another creates opportunities to improve the circumstances of those that leave behind the region where they were born and grew up, and to be assimilated into their new society. This is true in Eastern Europe, also when wars cause displacement and demand a closer look at how to help those that have lost everything whether this refers to pollical refugees and asylum seekers, or merely citizens from one country or region looking to improve their circumstances, looking for better opportunities for themselves and their children – to escape poverty, at times violence and military dictatorships, but in many cases to pursue dreams of improving their chances at a better life. Take, for instance, the Latinos in America and the positive contribution so many thousands of them have made to their circumstances and those of others in their adopted country. However, many generations of Latinos are no longer immigrants or outsiders chasing their dreams of a better life: they have been, for many decades, part of the greater American society and are American citizens. They are as part of the U.S. as anyone else and make their contribution to the economy when they play sports and represent a club, region, or the country when they pay taxes when they open businesses and create job opportunities for other citizens when they take part in the politics of their state or the entire country when they contribute in any other field where they compete, where they contribute, where they make their presence felt. The Latino voice, as it were, is no longer a whisper but a loud and clear sound that is heard across industries and the wider economy. Americans, whether Latino or not, are aware of the contribution made by this section of the population and society, not only because they have become more vocal about their aspirations to do well, to be respected and included, but also because they perform and make sure they leave behind a legacy worth remembering and emulating. Certain Latino brands are doing extremely well in both America and on the international stage. Think, for example, of Lala, the manufacturer of drinkable yogurts, smoothies, and specialty milk. There is Bimbo, the largest bakery company in the U.S., and with its roots in Mexico is a perfect example of the influence of the Latino factor in America. There are other impressive, influential corporations and companies steeped in Latino history such as, say, Corona beer, the famous Mexican beer distributed to 159 countries worldwide, also with a huge following in the U.S.

  2. There are more, for example, Maseca flour and another beer, Medela Especial. These brand names are instantly recognizable, as are Brightstar Corp. and MasTec Inc. The latter was founded by Jorge MS Canosa and is the second-largest Hispanic-owned U.S. company. The list simply goes on. It is estimated that there are now more than 3 million businesses owned by Latinos in the U.S. This, in itself, speaks of huge successes in business alone. What about politics, finance, the press, and more! All of these successes have helped to lift the profile of the Latino to make this community an extremely important role player in the economy and wider society than ever before. These successes often follow great efforts by individuals, groups, and platforms such as the well- known annual L’Attitude conference in California and other similar initiatives to help Latinos expand their business and other interests and to support their efforts to ensure their presence is felt in all spheres, also as a way to reach out to other communities. About Us: L’ATTITUDE is an impressive platform created to focus on the New Mainstream Economy in the United States, driven by leading Latino voices, companies, and members of the wider Latino cohort, with their mission to encourage support for initiatives that will help catalyze the Restart and Rebound of this sector by enabling opportunities for engagement through which faster, more profitable growth becomes a given. Investing in the ideals of this platform plays an important part in understanding how essential the Latino cohort is for the overall health and ongoing growth of the total American economy for the benefit of all. Impressive contributions across the board by Latinos from the worlds of politics, business, media, and technology have helped shape the platform that is L’ATTITUDE, with a strong focus on furthering the ideals of this sector of society as they also promote the cooperation of all groups to help shape the future success of America, with the Annual L’ATTITUDE Event a highlight on the calendar.
