  1. Eligibility criteria in MDU Rohtak for B.ed course admission Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelors Degree and /or in the Master's Degree of Kurukshetra University, Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak, CDLU, Sirsa or any other Qualification recognized as equivalent will be eligible for admission to the program. Shastri Degree 3-year (with or without English)/ Acharya Degree 2-year with 50% marks in aggregate from statutory university/ Institutions. Note: (i) there shall be no rounding off the percentage of marks of the qualifying examination from 0.5% and above to next higher number for determining the eligibility i.e. 49.5% and above will not be round off to 50%. (ii) 45% marks for SC/ST candidates. (iii) 45% marks for Blind /Physically Handicapped and visually/Hearing Impair Blue candidates. (IV) In case a candidate has completed masters Degree so the higher percentage of marks obtained in either of two will be taken into consideration while preparing the merit. (v) Compartmental candidates will not be allowed admission in B.Ed. (Regular Course) in any Selection for Admission. Admission to B.Ed will be made strictly based on merit of marks obtained in qualifying examination. No extra weightage of any kind will be given. In case two or more candidates in the merit list have equal percentage of marks, one who is senior in age will be consider Blue for admission. If the age in such cases is also the same, the admission will be given to the candidate having consistently better academic record. The merit list of selected candidates group wise/category wise will be available at the enquiry counter of the Directorate and/or at website. If the reserved seats for any category remain vacant, the same will be filled up from the candidates of the same group in the waiting list. Candidates are advised to attach all the documents and testimonials along with their application form for determining their eligibility. The selected candidates will be require blue to produce their original documents at the time of admission within prescribed time for verification before they are allowed to deposit their dues. Admission will be refused if any documents submitted/produced by the candidates are found false/bogus or the information filled in the application form is found to be incorrect or the M.D. University, Rohtak, has not recognized the qualifying examination passed by him/her from the other university/board.
