A few days ago, the French Academy came to remind us of this by rewarding three great Haitian writers with 3 prestigious literary prizes. First of all, there is Frankétienne, an 85-year-old novelist, poet and novelist who needs no introduction and who won the 2021 Grand Prix de la Francophonie this year.
