INSPECTION IN VINEYARDS • Verification of land – Trellis System – Varieties • Production Forecast (Selection of standard parcels) • Estimation of losses caused by weather phenomenon and epiphytes • Carrying out of periodical censuses • Control of nurseries (Agreement I.N.V. - I.N.A.S.E). • The producer is obliged to register himself and declare modifications in his property.

  5. INSPECTION IN WINERIES • Verification of documents. • Stock Inventory. • Control of elaboration processes. • Control of aptitude for consumption (Internal and Export.) • Sensory Control – Samples and Mobile Laboratories

Labelling Rules • Obligatory Mentions (in fix, clearly visible elements) • Product Legal Denomination • Brand • Alcoholic Degree • Net Content • Producing Country • Information about fractioning factory • I.N.V. analysis acronym and number • Sugar Content • Chromatic characteristics • “Drink in moderation – not for sale to minors” They should appear within the same field of vision

Labelling Rules • Optional Mentions (in any of the elements of the labelling) • Fractioner’s domicile • Reference about the Origin • Year of elaboration • Variety denomination • Additional information for the consumer • Awards received • Tasting characteristics All information should be truth and verifiable

  8. Dispatches for internal market consumption • Acquisition of free circulation analysis • Minimal alcoholic degree for dispatch • Varietal identification • Grape-wine yield • Presentation of monthly reports

Dispatches for external marketconsumption • Presentation of Exportation Document • Acquisition of analysis of exportation aptitude • Country of destination • Characteristics of the consignment • Type of product • Volume • Analytical characteristics • Dispatch modality • Export compliance voucher - Customs

  10. INSPECTION TO TRANSPORTATION VEHICLES • Verification of documentation, both for bulk and fractioned products. • Volume measurement of transport tanks. • Carriers Register. • Sensory and analytical control with mobile laboratory. • Extraction of official samples.

  11. INSPECTION ON OENOLOGICAL PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS • Obligatory registration for manufacturers. • They should be approved by the I.N.V. prior their use. • They should have the aptitude analysis. • Control by means of sporadic sampling.
