  2. Alarms are used for lots of different reasons. Can you think of ways that alarms are used? Warn of fires Warn of Burglars Help us to know when someone enters a shop. Warns when someone's breathing has stopped

  3. Burglar alarms can have lots of different features. Can you think of things that are used in a security system? • A house security system might have some or all of these features: • a floodlight • house lights that come on after dark and go off in the morning, • a door alarm based on a pressure pad • burglar alarm with a loud buzzer and flashing lights

  4. Can you draw and label a house security system with • a floodlight and house lights that come on after dark and go off in the morning, • a door alarm • and a burglar alarm with a loud buzzer and flashing lights

  5. Write a sequence of instructions to switch an alarm on and off.
