    Christmas Story

    Christmas Christmas is perhaps one of the most popular festivals in Hong Kong and around the world. It is the last festival in the year and most people have long holiday during this time. In the west, this festival is even more important than the New Year. It is a time for family reunion and members of the family usually return home and have a good time with the family.     People have many parties at Christmas and usually they exchange presents and chat and dance on Christmas Eve and play until early hours of the Christmas Day. Before Christmas, people decorate their homes with Christmas trees and Christmas flowers. During the Christmas week, people have Christmas meals and have turkey and Christmas pudding. It is a time for the whole family and everybody simply stops work and stays at home with the family. On 26th December - the Boxing Day - people will open the presents.       It was two weeks before Christmas, and Mrs Smith was very busy. She bought a lot of Christmas cards to send to her friends and to her husband's friends, and put them on the table in the living-room. Then, when her husband came home from work, she said to him, 'Here are the Christmas cards for our friends, and here are some stamps, a pen and our book of addresses. Will you please write the cards while I am cooking the dinner?'             Story Mr Smith did not say anything, but walked out of the living-room and went to his study. Mrs Smith was very angry with him, but did not say anything either.   Then a minute later he came back with a box full of Christmas cards. All of them had addresses and stamps on them.   'These are from last year,' he said. 'I forgot to post them.'

    You can make a nice little box out of paper. S U P P L I E S Printer Paper(thick paper) Scissors Glue Crayons or markers A short length of yarn or string Print out a copy of the template first. Decorate the box and cut it out then. Fold all the interior lines of the box.Glue the one tab that is marked to glue,and attach it to the other end of the template,forming a box. Fold over the tabs on each end and close the ends. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL BOX!!!! You can stick something you like on the box.You can put some gifts form your friends TOO!!! F I N I S H!!!!
