  2. Overview Pediatric dentistry encompasses a variety of disciplines, techniques, and procedures to modify and adapt to the special needs of infants, children, and adolescents. Pediatric Dentistry is an “Age Defined” specialty. In this department, students perform all types of preventive and comprehensive dental procedures in children up to the age of 14 years. Further, a child-friendly environment is provided considering the variable behavior needs of the growing children and thus instilling in them a positive attitude towards dentistry.
