The passengers must choose their choice of bedding arrangement in advance when they are making their reservations. All the cabins are fitted with a smoke alarm system and pneumatic suspension for the beds. The cabins provide a majestic view of the environment through their sprawling windows. Palace on wheels India is a proud host to two beautiful Restaurant cars called “MayurMahal” (Peacock Palace) and “Rang Mahal” (Colour Palace). They are aptly named to represent the lavish meals the chefs provide. The restaurants can seat 42 passengers each, two-seater and four-seater arrangements are available.

5. The chefs have ample knowledge of Indian and International cuisine to meet the passengers’ culinary demands. All four in-house meals, breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner included in the tariff shall be held in these restaurants. They also have a collection of imported wines and other beverages which can be selectively paired with meals of your choice.
