And when it comes to a difficult subject like biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics; the pressure even worsens. Students seldom struggle to study these subjects, so having to get revise them before the exam is a hard nut to crack. But, it is said that one should revise the subject which he or she finds difficult at least two times before exams. And subjects like chemistry, which contain many equations, formulas, diagrams, theorems, symbols, and much more, need extra efforts to learn everything. Therefore it is suggested that subjects like chemistry should be well revised before the exams. When studying the O-Level chemistry course, apart from regular studies and regular coaching classes, students should give equal time to self- studying, and revision. Here are some tips as on how the students can go for revision for O-Level chemistry courses before their exams: first and foremost the student should thoroughly know what all topics are coming for the exam, and out of them which are the important one which needs extra practice. Seldom, there are such topics which surely come in the question paper, and their identification is done by analyzing previous years question paper. Therefore, the student should first and foremost study the previous question paper and note down the topics which appear the maximum of times. Next, the student needs to develop a regular time schedule, which would include everything which he or she does in a day. From waking up to sleeping, every hour should be planned. Apart from regular studies, extra revising time should be allotted to those important topics which have a recurring nature in the exam papers. These topics should be at least read every day for some time. If the student finds it hard to understand any topic of O-Level chemistry, he or she can go for group studies. Group studies help one to thoroughly understand the topic from all sides. When more than one individual tries to study the topic, everyone comes up with some different explanation for the same. Also, the topics for which there are notes required to be prepared, the student should prepare them, and even stick notes on his or her wall or cupboard so that every time he or she goes there he or she at least read them. And any such place around the house, where the student spends the maximum of his or her time, the notes should be made visible to him or her there, either in the kitchen, or living area etc. The studying should be done at such a place where there is no disturbance because any type of Disturbance or distraction might create hindrance in the student’s concentration. The most important part of all is that the student should continuously practice previous years question appears and mock tests, in order to know which are his or her weak areas, on which he or she needs to work.
