ABOUT SERVICES CLIENTS PRINCIPALS NEWS & UPDATES CONTACT US MARC BERGER Senior Managing Director m.berger@axisbas.com Mr. Berger has more than 40 years of experience advising companies in numerous capacities. His experience has included developing strategic alternatives, implementing financial restructurings and corporate finance transactions. [ Back ] He is a seasoned real estate specialist with experience in strategic planning, implementation, leasing,  financing  and  restructuring  in  various  product  types  including  commercial  office, industrial, self­storage and retail. Retail sectors include entertainment, high volume food service, recreation and traditional chain retail. He has extensive expertise in master planned communities and single/multi­family development including, acquisitions, dispositions, valuations, restructurings and project and entity financings. Mr. Berger has led capital formation activities through private placements and public offerings of debt  and  equity  securities,  conventional  project,  entity  and  joint  venture  financing  with  both national and international clients. Mr. Berger also has private and public experience in valuation, acquisition, disposition, merger, LBO, joint ventures and company formation.  Mr. Berger has also provided litigation support and expert witness testimony in complex litigation matters. Mr. Berger was formerly a partner at Pricewaterhouse Coopers as well as Arthur Andersen. In addition, he was a Senior Manager with Kenneth Leventhal & Co. Prior to joining AXIS, Mr. Berger was  a  Principal  with  a  nationally  recognized  financial  advisory  firm  specializing  in  distressed situations.  Mr.  Berger  has  an  MBA  with  a  concentration  in  Real  Estate  Finance  and  a  BA  in Economics. In addition, he has been a licensed Real Estate Broker in California since 1984, and also held a California C­53 Contractors License.   Copyright © 2023 Axis Business Advisory Services. All Rights Reserved.
