Westpoint Slough Location • Shortest vessel travel time • Availability of land for landside facilities (short-term and long-term) • Vehicular access available • Compatible with BCDC Seaport Plan and Port needs • Proximity to Pacific Shores development for “walk in” rider-ship
Redwood City Ferry Terminal: Next Steps • Environmental Impact Report: 12-18 Months • Final Terminal Design, Permitting, and Contracting: 12 Months • Terminal Construction: 12 Months • Depending on (1) availability of funds (2) environmental impacts and (3) community support, completion of the next steps would result in ferry service in 2011 for Redwood City.
