  2. 1.Extension Installation •For Magento Marketplace Customers oCreate a folder structure in Magento root as app/code/Meetanshi/Barcode oIf you are using Magento version 2.3.0 or lesser, install Zend framework barcode library using below command. ▪composer require zendframework/zend-barcode oDownload and extract the zip folder and upload our extension files to the app/code/Meetanshi/Barcode via FTP. oLogin to your SSH and run below commands step by step: ▪php bin/magento setup:upgrade ▪For Magento version 2.0.x to 2.1.x - php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy ▪For Magento version 2.2.x & above - php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy –f ▪php bin/magento cache:flush •For Meetanshi Customers oExtract the zip folder and upload our extension to the root of your Magento 2 directory via FTP. oIf you are using Magento version 2.3.0 or lesser, install Zend framework barcode library using below command. ▪composer require zendframework/zend-barcode oLogin to your SSH and run below commands step by step: ▪php bin/magento setup:upgrade ▪For Magento version 2.0.x to 2.1.x - php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy ▪For Magento version 2.2.x & above - php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy –f ▪php bin/magento cache:flush 2.Configuration To configure the extension, login to Magento 2 backend, move to Stores → Barcode Generator where you can find various settings to configure the extension. •Barcode Generator: Enable the extension from here. → Configuration → → Barcode Generator for Magento2 ©Meetanshi

  3. 3.Barcode Settings Configure the barcode type and print page related settings here. •Select Barcode Type: Select one of the 17 barcode types as per your requirement. •Barcode Prefix: Set the barcode prefix that will be added prior to the code generated, based on selected barcode type. •Product Attribute for Barcode: The extension auto-creates and assigns “barcode” attribute to the products while extension installation. If you want to use a different attribute, select it from the drop-down. •Page Print Width: Select the width of the print page for the barcode. •Page Print Height: Select the height of the print page for the barcode. •Assign Barcode: After selecting the above options, click here to assign the barcodes to the products. •Display Brand Logo: Set YES to display the brand logo in the print page along with the barcode. •Logo Image: Upload the brand logo image. •Logo Vertical Coordinates: Set the vertical coordinates for the brand logo display on the print page. •Logo Horizontal Coordinates: Set the horizontal coordinates for the brand logo display on the print page. •Description Attribute: Set various attributes and their coordinates to display and print in the barcode print page. •Barcode Preview: Click to see the preview of barcode print page. Note:Every time you make changes to configuration settings, after saving the configuration, you must click “Assign Barcodes” to allow extension reflect changes and assign barcodes to products.   5. 4.Barcode Assigned to the Product Immediately afterthe barcodes are assigned from the configuration, you can see the barcode assigned to the products. Go to Catalog → → Products → to see the assigned barcode value to the product. → Edit a Product → → Barcode Generator 5.Print Barcodes for the Products Once the barcodes are assigned to the products from the configuration and extension configuration is saved, you can print barcodes for the products. Go to Catalog > Products, click the “Print Barcode” action for the product of which you want to print the barcodes. Add the number of barcode copies you want to print and click “OK”.
