  6. Complaints in Nature • Performing Aerobatics over homes • Careless operation of Flight School aircraft • Runway too short for aircraft use • Excessive Noise • Low Flight over homes • Unmarked Aircraft low over homes • Aircraft chasing me

  7. Investigative method • Surveillance of aircraft in operation • Review of the area to ensure parameters met regulatory guidelines • Interviews with both pilots and homeowners • Actual distance survey • Examination of Flight School Curriculum

  8. Investigation (Cont) Prior ADO and State involvement Involved 7 inspectors working independently Estimated 186 Man Hours for the 9 Months 46 Official records opened and closed Special emphasis working group (s) conclusions

  9. Conclusion • Investigative conclusions did not result in violations at or around airport. Flight Standards Investigations were unable to substantiate any of the complaints received during this time frame

  10. Conclusion (Continued) • Investigation revealed that Runway 10/28 was being used more. • Straight Line distance from ponderosa to touchdown spot on Runway 28 is 1.6 miles • Regulatory enforcement action and fostering proper relations between agencies and the public.
