Here are India’s three famous bike builders who have created the best modified bikes.

  4. Tushar Jaitly- The Young Gun of India! • Tushar Jaitly, known as the young gun of India is considered to be one of the best bike builders in the country. He has grown up sketching cars and bikes, and later went on to study automobile design at one of the best institutes in the world- Turin’s Instituto Europeo di Design. • Post completion of his studies in 2012, he decided to return to India and customize bikes instead of cars as he believed that it was a smaller canvas to begin with. • He first worked on his own Harley-Davidson Iron 88, named Nadia which he then exhibited at the India Bike Week. • He’s one of those bike builders who sear by the minimalist approach and the modified bikes are a proof of all his works.

AkshaiVarde- The Boss! • Akshai is one of the most popular bike builders in the country and every Bollywood celeb has him on speed dial. • He built his first bike in the year 2004, which was a 1977 Royal Enfield. It later went on to catch actor Ash Chandler’s attention at Marine Drive one fine evening when Akshai was taking a ride on it. He was quite impressed with Akshai’s work and became his first ever customer. • In course of time, Akshai set up Vardenchi Motorcycles and has planned to open numerous more showrooms across the country. • He creates some of the best modified bikes at a decent price that ranges between INR 40,000 to 1.2 lakh.

  6. Bobbee Singh- The Old School Designer of All Time! • Bobbee Singh is a renowned restoration specialist with over 15 years of experience. He has created a network of informants who let him know about the vintage Royal Enfield's that are on sale. Once the purchase is done, he restores or modifies them and puts it on sale for clients all over the globe. • He sells some of the best modified bikes and his most preferred bikes are Nortons, BSA’s, Triumphs and Royal Enfields. • Her firmly believes that these bikes are designed specially for Indian roads and works towards creating better designs. • He works on about 15 to 20 bikes each year and charges anywhere between 3.5 lakh to 5 lakh per bike modification.
