Several series have been released on it ever since its inception and each of them has received a good response from the audience. several others are expected to be out in the months to come. Here are 10 best series on Amazon Prime in 2019

  2. BREATHE 2 • Breathe garnered a lot of appreciation and became an instant hit. The series starring R. Madhavan kept the audience engrossed and left them wanting for more. The super success of this series inspired the makers to come up with its sequel. Breathe 2 is on its way to entertain us. Though not much has been revealed about this forthcoming series, the makers have confirmed that it will star Abhishek Bachchan in the lead and is likely to be released this year. Bachchan would reportedly be paired opposite Saiyami Kher of Mirzya fame. Popular TV actor Amit Sadh will also be seen in the show. Breathe 2 will not take the story of season 1 further. It will show a new story.

  3. SNEAKY PETE SEASON 3 • After the success of the first two seasons of Sneaky Pete, the third one is on its way. The American crime drama shows the story of Marius Josipovic, a convict who has been released. He takes the identity of Pete Murphy once he is out and the story takes an interesting turn. Season 3 will see all the Sneaky Pete family members explore their identity and the risks they are exposed to in the event. This season is expected to be as thrilling as the earlier ones and will keep you hooked. The series is likely to be released on the 10th of May this year.

  4. FLEABAG SEASON 2 • Fleabag Season 2, all set to release on Amazon Prime on 17th May 2019, is one of the most awaited series. The show’s creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge plays the protagonist, Fleabag who is a confused, sex-addicted young woman. It is interesting to see how she gets into different situations and handles them in her own bizarre ways. The second season of this comedy series will see the young protagonist meeting a priest who convinces her to look at the world from a different perspective. Fleabag will be seen caught in a strange battle with God. •

  5. HANNA • Released on February 2019, Hanna narrates the story of a young girl raised in a forest in Poland. The only person she has ever known is her father, Erik. She goes through highs and lows in an attempt to explore her identity. The story gets thrilling when Marissa, an agent, tries to hunt down Erik and Hanna. The series has been inspired by the 2011 movie of the same name. It stars Joel Kinnaman, Esme Creed-Miles and Mireille Enos in prominent roles. •

  6. FOUR MORE SHOTS • Released on January 2019, Four More Shots is loosely based on Sex and the City. It is the story of four female friends going through different highs and lows in their lives. Each of them is struggling with her own set of problems. They meet at a bar regularly to discuss their problems and unwind. They seem to be the happiest when they are all together. It is refreshing to see how these four characters enjoy their life and stay strong amid their personal problems. •

  7. MADE IN HEAVEN • The series, directed by Zoya Akhtar, was released on March 2019 and became an instant hit. It gives a glimpse into the big fat Indian wedding culture and the problems that go within the high profile families. It particularly showcases the difficulties the youth faces in dealing with the customs and traditions forced on them and how they try to seek happiness amid the chaos. • Made in Heaven has an impressive star cast that includes Kalki Koechlin, Arjun Mathur, Jim Sarbh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Shashank Arora and Shivani Raghuvanshi among others. The series has been loved for its novel concept, storyline and amazing star cast.

  8. THE BOYS • The Boys is yet another series to be looked forward to this year. Expected to release on July 2019, it is an American superhero drama inspired by the comic book by the same name. The story shows the superheroes dealing with the downside of their stardom. A group of boys will be seen taking on the corrupt superheroes. All in all, the series is expected to be super thrilling and exciting. The Sci-Fi action-drama stars Jack Quaid, Karl Urban and Chace Crawford in the lead. •
