NRAS Property • The Federal and State Governments have selected the blocks of land that the builders will build the affordable housing on. • These are normal properties that any investor would build but they have the NRAS product attached to them. • The location of these properties are anywhere from Aldinga Beach to Gawler to Mt Barker and Murray Bridge.
Benefits • NRAS investors can expect to benefit from the annual NRAS incentive – currently $10,350, rental yields and capital gains. • Independent financial modelling of the NRAS incentive shows it can provide market rates of return at levels that are strongly competitive with other asset classes.
The Rent • In order to comply with NRAS regulations an Approved NRAS property must be rented out for no more than 80% of the current Market Value Rent.
