Naesys Dimensions Solution is an IT services, software and system integration company. Our main business is to keep developing innovative solutions for government organisations. We work to optimise the solutions for complex and mission critical problems. We have multi- ple distinctive focus areas within the organisation, in- cluding enterprise application, digital security, unified digital operations centre; video based tele-presence and business intelligence. How is Naesys a part of Digital India? Naesys is committed to the idea of Digital India pre- sented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Since its in- ception, Naesys has undertaken multiple projects in- cluding e-office executed at Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to help the elite force in transforming the or- ganisation into a digitally-empowered and paperless or- ganisation. Besides working on digitalising the large government organisations, Naesys along with its part- ners have built various cyber and digital security frame- works that have been conceptualised in collaboration with government organisations. The government of India has embarked on an ambitious smart cities mission that aims at modernising existing cities and improving the quality of life. For smart cities, India needs the redevelopment of city’s infrastructure and the deployment of smart technologies. Naesys is leading the way in establishing itself as a leading provider of smart city solutions to improve public services delivery through our citizen ser- vice framework solution. Our framework uses the power of the internet; GUI-based workflow, au- tomate rules and busi- ness logic, configurable user interface or e-forms and content and document management for the less-paper environment. Another set of innovation that we have done in the past is to create our own “unified digital operations plat- form” (UDOP). Public safety is a big concern in a grow- ing economy like India. We have built multiple solutions with various world renowned, tried and tested products and have integrated them into our command and con- trol framework to manifest end to end public safety. By using our well integrated IOT enabled UDOP frame- work, the government can now leverage on the same and use them for multiple cases such as Dial100, city surveillance, women and child safety, water and power How important is security and surveillance in smart cities? The ambitious project of ‘Smart Cities’ has created a lot of buzz ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi an- nounced his vision to make cities sustainable, comfort- able and efficient. But these factors aren’t ade- quate for a city to be ‘smart’. Safety standards have to be properly taken care of. In order to ensure safety in a smart city set up, security and surveillance is a must in terms of traffic manage- ment, monitoring threats, maintaining social control and criminal identifica- tion, thus, reducing the ‘Naesys has built a digital and cyber security practice to fight unseen criminals sitting on the other side of the world’ cases of people breaking the law.
