Delhi Government Introduces ‘Mohalla Bus Sewa’ to Enhance Last-Mile Connectivity Introduction The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) is currently working on the implementation of a project known as "Mohalla Bus Sewa." This initiative involves the use of nine-meter-long electric buses that are specifically designed to offer last-mile connectivity within the city. "Mohalla Bus Sewa" Initiative An innovative transportation initiative called "Route MS-1" was launched to offer commuters in East Delhi a convenient and environmentally friendly way to travel. This experimental bus route connects the Akshardham Metro Station to the Mayur Vihar Phase-3 Paper Market, providing residents with a sustainable and hassle-free transportation option.

  2. These little buses can accommodate 23 people on seats and are designed to maneuver through congested areas. As with usual lines, women will ride for free and have 25% of the seats reserved for them. "Mohalla Bus Sewa" Route Please note the following information: Route MS-1 includes stops at important locations such as Gharoli Extension, Chand Cinema, Kalyanpuri Crossing, Rajbir Colony Pul Number-1, Mayur Vihar Phase-1 Metro Station, and other Trilokpuri blocks. Benefits to the City To enhance the comfort of commuters and improve local accessibility, these routes are specifically designed to prioritize areas with high concentrations of residential and commercial activity. The fare structure will be implemented in three stages, covering the following routes: 1. Mayur Vihar Phase-1 Metro Station to Rajbir Colony Pul Number-1 2. Mayur Vihar Phase-3 Paper Market 3.
