  1. How to Remove Exterior Lead Paint Lead paints are very dangerous because it causes harmful health effects for children who consume them. Also It will distinguish soon and turn into dust that may b inhaled while breathing. Home owner should remove the paint that contain lead, but it will get into the air or get digested during removal. The paint should remove when it starts peeling or chipping. The home owner should hire some professionals for this job.

  2. Protection and safety • Cover all the plants, shades and playground equipment with plastic drop clothes and hold them down with brick or cinder brick. Inform all the neighbors that there will lead paint removal happening so that they can protect their homes from lead dust.

  3. Protection and safety • Get hepa filter respirator mask. You can buy it from any paint outlet and also wear safety glasses to protect your eye. Apply water with spray bottle on that area where you are working, it will help to loose old, cracked, and lead-based paint. It will also control the release of lead filled dust.

  4. Paint Scrapper • By using paint scrapper remove all the paint on the area you have soaked with water. Apply more water to keep the surface moist.
