Chicago Loop Dialysis Center: Drain System Rehabilitation Location: Chicago, Illinois Situation: The copper and cast iron drain system within this dialysis center experienced constant failures. Some copper pipes were replaced, but problems appeared again after two years. The customer needed a long-term solution that would not result in shutting down the patients’ dialysis machines. Solution: The failing pipes that are both exposed and imbedded in concrete within the floor were cleaned and lined by Nu Flow technicians at night to minimize inconvenience.
