There are grant opportunities out there… In 2007, 1,251 Wisconsin foundations awarded $478,950,513in grants. (Marquette University’s Funding Information Center) So how do you find them?

Local Private Foundations • Think local • Smaller foundations may be more willing to support a project in their region or community than a large, national foundation • Look to your board or the foundation’s board
