  2. The wineyard • 6 Ha – 50 % grapes for white wine & 50 % grapes for red wine • Chalkrich claysoil on the right bank of the Dordogne river • Situated on hilltop with an east-west exposure .

  3. Organic farming • Planting of new wines / much work done to improve old wines . • Low yields - 30-45 hl/ha • Manual work to ensure quality

  4. The Chai • Small temperature regulated stainless steel vats

  5. The Grapes Semillon 70 % -famous grape for noble rot -gives full and rich wines -wines that have an potential for aging -Honey, dried fruits, citrus fruit ....

  6. Sauvignon Blanc et gris 20 % Very expressive aromas Gives much eleganse and finesse Aromas of passion and exotic fruits ,grapefruit,minerals .....

  7. Muscadell 10% • Gives much expression and finess to a blend even in small quantities • Very complex aromas - acacia flower, tropical fruits, apricot .......

  8. Merlot 80 % • Famous Bordeaux grape • very well adapted to the temperate climate and soils • gives complex colourful wines • spice, small red fruits ....

  9. Cabernet Sauvignon 20 % • Late maturing • gives wines with very good potential for aging – rich in tannins • Aromas of violets,blackcurrant...

  10. The Wines • Cuvée K – red and dry white wine - fresh and fruity ! • Château K - red and dry white wine - rich and complex wines aged in oak .

  11. Château K – Blanc sec 2004 • 90 % Semillon, 10 % Muscadelle • 20 % aged in oak • Complex aromas of passionfruit ,citrus, white flowers and minerals • Ample and round with plenty of fruit and freshness .

  12. Château K – Rouge 2005 • 85 % Merlot & 15 % Caberent Sauvignon • Made and aged in oakvats and oakbarrels for 18 months • Goldmedal in Concours de Bordeaux • Tantalizing aromas of ripe black fruits and spice • Full round fruity - young, though souple, tannins.....
