  1. SAGE 100 Contractors 2019 Server Hardware Requirements: Before you download/Upgrade Sage 100 Contractor 2019, let’s have a look at the requirement of the server to install the software. The Hardware of the Server RAM Minimum Requirements Recommended Configuration 4 GB 16 GB (It includes 4 GB for the SQL Server) Full-duplex 1 Gbit 100 GB Space with 150 MB/s write and read speed in Solid State Drive/Disk 2.6 GHz+, x64 (i7) Quad Core Intel Processor Laser or Inkjet printer Network Disk Space Full-duplex (100 Mbit) 7200 RPM with 8 MB Cache Processor 2 GHz+, x64 Intel Processor Laser or Inkjet printer Printers

Here are the Recommended Operating Systems that Support - 64-bit Server preferred: MS Windows Server (Standard) 2016 MS Windows Server (Essentials )2016 MS Windows Server (Standard) 2012 R2 Microsoft Windows Server (Essentials) 2012 R2 Microsoft Windows Server (Standard) 2008 R2 Here is the installation guide that you need to follow to install the Sage 100 Contractor in your system: Point to be noted: The latest Sage SQL is now available for integration with Sage 100 contractor. First, you are to run the installation: First, you need to install .NET 4.6 in your system and then reboot your system.

  3. Now, select Next oNow, tick all the items that you want to install in your PC. oSelect Sage 100 Contractor (For both Workstation and Server) Point to be noted: Updating Sage Advisor is an optional step for the server. Select Next Now, click on [x] and then click on "I agree" oNow, select Next Now, click on the edition according to region Canada or US. oNow, select Install Write down the Server Name or IP Address (An optional step) oNow, click on Next and then click on Finish. Setup your License Administrator Open License Administrator Now, select Edit Registration info. Enter the valid Credentials: oSage client ID: 80XXXXXXX21 oRegistration name: Name of Company (Case sensitive) Now, select OK Express SQL Server Installation (If it has not already been installed) Here, you need to open Database Admin. Now, select the Location in the Hard Drive where you want to store your data (Make sure it is not virtual or mapped drive). Click on OK Now, click on SQL Server Express Installation. oThe download with start for SQL Express file oOnce the download finishes, the prompt will ask you to start the installation. oClick on OK to start the installation. The installation is pre-configured. During the installation process, you may receive many prompts while installation. Click on OK to all.

  4. Point to be noted: Once the installation completes, a screen will appear where you need to enter the password. Now, take the screenshot of the window, note down the password and then close the window (you won’t get the opportunity to see that window again) A new SQL Server with the name (Server Name) \SAGE100CON will be visible to you in the Database Admin Connection Screen. Select Connect and the SQL Server will be connected.
