  1. Soar Above the Clouds: Unleash Your Inner Pilot with Microlight Flying Have you ever gazed out the airplane window, marveling at the pilot's confidence navigating a colossal metal bird through the vast sky? Have you ever wondered if you, too, could experience the thrill of flight? Well, buckle up, adventure seeker, because Outdoorkeeda brings you the exhilarating world of microlight flying! MICROLIGHT MAGIC: YOUR GATEWAY TO FLIGHT Microlight flying, also known as ultralight flying, offers an unforgettable adventure unlike any other. Imagine yourself soaring above the clouds, the world miniaturized beneath you, feeling the wind rush through your hair as you experience the freedom of flight in a microlight aircraft.

  2. 1 A microlight is a lightweight, one- or two-seater aircraft with fixed wings. These compact marvels typically weigh less than 450 kilograms (depending on regulations), making them incredibly efficient and maneuverable. Microlights can reach impressive heights of up to 9,000 meters and cruise at speeds exceeding 220 kilometers per hour. Most importantly, they're designed for STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing), meaning they don't require long runways for takeoff or landing – perfect for smaller airfields. In India, there are some regulations, which have to be fulfilled if you want to steer a microlight: ● The participant must complete 60 hours of training, which includes minimum 40 hours of flying in the air. ● The participant must clear written and oral exams which are conducted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. ● The participant must obtain a Microlight Pilot License (PL(M)), if he/she wants to fly alone. ● The minimum age to be eligible for this license is 17 years. Yes…… you have to wait that long for this exciting adventure. However if you are being accompanied by a pilot you can relish this adventure at just the ripe age of 12. ● There is no particular maximum age but if you are pregnant, or suffer from a neurological disorder, epilepsy and high blood pressure you should consult a doctor before booking your tickets. You can enjoy microlight flying even if you are not trained, a pilot will accompany you during your expedition. However if you have taken a proper training and got your license you can handle the microlight alone. We can see your adrenaline pumping already!!!!!!! SAFETY FIRST, FUN ALWAYS! Safety is paramount at Outdoorkeeda. Before embarking on your microlight

  3. 2 adventure, you'll receive comprehensive training from certified instructors. This ensures you understand the aircraft's operation and safety protocols. And if you're still feeling apprehensive, a seasoned pilot will fly alongside you on your initial flight, providing guidance and ensuring a smooth experience. WHERE CAN I FLY IN INDIA? Relax man….
