  4. TOURING TO SALOU • Extremely popular warm-weather destination • Fantastic local sports facilities in the nearby town of Reus (15 minutes transfer) • Large hotels with excellent buffet meals • Port Aventura on the doorstep!!! • Barcelona only 1 hr North of Salou • Long stretch of beach!

  5. 05th April 2009 • 09.44hrs Assemble on the Cobbles, Blossom Street with luggage and passports • 10.00hrs Coach departs to Leeds/Bradford airport • 11:00hrs All Saints tour party convenes at Leeds Bradford airport. • 11.20hrs Check-in for the Jet2 flight: LS231 • 13:20hrs Depart Leeds Bradford. • 16:50hrs Arrive at Barcelona airport, head through immigration and meet our local representative in the arrivals lounge. Load and board our transfer to Salou. • 18:30hrs Arrive at our hotel and meet our SET Representative who will check us into the hotel. • PLEASE NOTE: The hotel require a €10 damage deposit at check-in, this is refundable on check out, subject to no damage occurred. • Evening meal served at our hotel. • Evening entertainment - Welcome ceremony, a chance to meet our MasterClass Course Director and Resort team.

  6. Regina Gran Hotel ****, Salou The Regina Gran Hotel is situated in the Tarragonés district on the Costa Dorada. A new "gran hotel" at just 200m from the centre of Salou, approximately 700m from the beach. The hotel offers three types of rooms. All with air conditioning, satellite TV, mini bar, telephone, safe, heating, and a spacious terrace, all with a sofa bed and full bathroom with hair dryer.

  7. Regina Gran Hotel ****, Salou The hotel has a restaurant which offers a buffet service for breakfast, dinner and evening meals. We also cater for special requirements: diet products, meals adapted for vegetarian options etc.

  8. 06th April 2009 • Breakfast served at accommodation. • Collect packed lunch from restaurant. • After breakfast transfer to Barcelona – Full day guided tour of Barcelona. • - This includes a tour of the famous Nou Camp. • Transfer back to accommodation. • PM: Evening meal served at your hotel. • Evening entertainment – Quiz night!!

  10. 07th April 2009 • AM: Breakfast served at accommodation. • Collect packed lunch from restaurant. • 09:00hrs transfer to local sport venues for our training. • 09:30 – 13:30hrs - Quality intensive Netball coaching with UK qualified coaches. • 13:45hrs transfer back to our hotel. • Free afternoon in resort, great chance to wander into Salou and explore the town and nearby beach! • Evening meal served at our hotel.

  12. 8th April 2009 • AM: Breakfast served at accommodation. • Collect packed lunch from restaurant. • Transfer to the netball venue for your morning training. • 09:30 – 13:00hrs - Quality intensive Netball coaching with UK qualified coaches. • 13:00 – 13:45hrs – Packed lunch at the sports venue. • 14:00 – 17:00hrs MasterClass UK Tournament • Post tournament presentation. • Evening meal served at our hotel. • Evening entertainment – MasterClass Disco!

  13. 09th April 2009 • AM: Breakfast served at accommodation. • There will be no lunch provided on this day due to theme park regulations. • Transfer to Port Aventura. • Full day at Port Aventura Theme Park. • PM: Transfer back to accommodation. • Hot Evening Meal served in our hotel. • Evening entertainment – • Karaoke night in the hotel!

  15. 10th April 2009 • AM: Breakfast served at accommodation. • Check out of rooms, collect your €10 damage deposit and place your luggage in the hotel luggage store room. • Free Day, to enjoy some sun (hopefully) around the pool or wander into Salou for some last minute souvenir shopping. • Lunch served in your hotel. • 16:30hrs Load and board our airport transfer. • 18:00hrs Arrive at Barcelona airport and check-in for Jet2 flight LS 232 for Leeds Bradford. • 20:20hrs Depart Barcelona. • 21:45hrs Arrive at Leeds Bradford airport. • 23.15hrs Arrive Blossom Street, York (pupils will have the opportunity to ring home to inform you of our estimated time of arrival back in York). Please ensure your son/daughter is met promptly at the school, as we will all be very tired after a hectic and hopefully memorable week.

Equipment and Luggage Luggage • 1 medium sized suitcase (22kgs max) • 1 small hand luggage (10kg measuring up to 50x38x26cm) Note: The following items are not allowed in Hand Luggage – scissors, knives, nail files, matches, lighters or any sharp implements and liquids over 100ml Essential equipment • Non-marking sole trainers for netball, towel, hat, sun cream

General Rules and Guidelines BEHAVIOUR It really goes without saying that we expect your behaviour on this trip to be exemplary and youare reminded that the drinking of alcohol and smoking is not allowed. TIME KEEPING Being on time to meals, coaching sessions, meeting times are important so please adhere to them. Remember - you have each other to look after and think about! NUMBER AND PASSPORT CHECKS You will be subjected to constant counting and checking of passports so please assist with this procedure to simplify and speed up a very necessary process.

  20. Free Time You will be allowed ‘free’ time to go to the shops etc. No students should go out alone - the minimum group size is 3. Don’t forget traffic moves on the opposite side of the road in Europe!   Balconies/Banisters Climbing on or over balconies is strictly forbidden Electrical sockets in bathrooms Pupils are not to use these under any circumstance Clear Glass Be aware of clear glass and patio doors that are difficult to see.
