Introduction • Imagine for your birthday your parents are giving you $1500 to remodel your bedroom. You are given the task of designing a diagram of your bedroom and researching the materials and supplies needed to complete the remodeling.
The Task • You need to measure your room, the height and length of each wall, window and doors. • You will research the given websites for changes you wish to make to your room. Such changes may include paint color, carpet or flooring, furniture, window furnishings, etc. • You will need to keep track of all expenses and websites you use. • You will create a two diagrams of your room a before and after the remodeling. You will present all of this to the class via a PowerPoint presentation. • Make sure to complete all the components of the Rubric to create an outstanding PowerPoint presentation of your bedroom
Evaluation • A rubric will be used to evaluate students understanding of the components of remodeling assignment and the webquest.
