Objectives: Laying the Foundation • Students will comprehend the geographical layout of the world while focusing on their native countries. Justification: CT Curricular Trace Maps: STANDARD 9; Places and Regions: Students will use spatial perspective to identify and analyze the significance of physical and cultural characteristics of places and world regions.
