  2. Steps That Are Required To Become a Successful Real Estate Agent 1. Getting the required education . In Singapore, all new agents are required to pass the RES exam in order to get their license. The prerequisite of registering for the exam is that you should complete the real estate sales person course with stipulated number of classroom sessions. A course completion certificate from an accredited RES course provider is necessary to get registered for the RES exam.
