Platform 39 offers three courses in Adobe Photoshop CC. Adobe Photoshop is the best application available for professional image editing and graphic design. Its uses range from creating intricate photo-realistic montages, digital paintings and drawings to time saving complex editing of large batches of photos. Peoples image editing needs have inevitably changed over time, the internet and social media channels didn’t exist when Photoshop was first created. Upon it’s launch it made an immediate impact on the creative community. Suddenly, for the first time, designers and photographers were able to perform image editing tasks without resorting to high end, prohibitively expensive equipment. Adobe Adobe Photoshop is the go-to application for image editing and graphic design. It’s used for image editing, enhancing or manipulation and is also widely used for website design. Platform 39 offers three courses in Adobe Photoshop CC. The industry standard image editor for over 25 years, Photoshop still remains the industry standard program in its field. Adobe Illustrator CC Adobe Illustrator is Adobe’s page layout software and is the professional choice for layout design and page making for brochures, posters, journals, magazines, e-zines, e-books and i-Pad apps. Platform 39 offers three courses in Adobe Illustrator CC. Adobe Illustrator is a vector drawing program and because of it’s vector graphics based accuracy it is widely used for typography, logo design, illustration, diagrams, charts, pattern making and technical drawing. Illustrator uses mathematical equations to draw out shapes resulting in vector graphics scalable without any loss of quality. Unlike the familiar gif, jpeg, tiff, etc images – known as raster images – vector images are not made up of a grid of pixels, they are instead created by paths – a combination of a starting point and an ending point with a combination of shapes, angles and lines in-between. These paths relate to each other by mathematical formulas, allowing them to be scaled and rescaled infinitely. This lossless scaling makes Adobe Illustrator a more ideal program for companies concerned with branding than Adobe Photoshop, since they can create images and logos that can be small enough to be a tiny icon or large enough to appear on a billboard. When Tim Berners specified HTML and wrote the browser and server software in late 1990, the language HTML was only used to add structure to text. HTML is an acronym for Hypertext Markup Language.
