  2. It is not possible to fax without using a phone connection. If you are keen in doing the same, it is recommended to install additional hardware to send a fax. To proceed with the fax feature, you should load some paper into the scanner glass and proceed with the fax process.

  3. Step 1: Make sure that the document that you load is within the size of the scanner glass. Step 2: After placing the document on the flatbed scanner, check if it is correctly placed on the basis of the engraved lines of the printer. Step 3: Connect the phone cable to the rear port of the printer. Make sure that you connect the cable to the correct port.

  4. Step 4: If the phone cable is connected to a wrong port, it may lead to some problems in the printer or can damage the connector cable. Step 5: After connecting the cable to the printer, check the connection at the other end of the connection. Step 6: If the cable is not inserted into the phone properly, reconnect it correctly.
