  4. In keeping with the times, BMW has brought about dashing touches to the X5 SUV. The grille, the headlamps, the beefy bumpers and the flowing lines all point to a design job done extremely well. At 4886 mm length, it is within kissing distance of the five metre mark. That means a long cabin with three genuine, full fledged rows of seats and still enough space for luggage. The width, at 1938 mm, is just shy of the two metre mark while the height is a handy 1762 mm. With a wheelbase of 2933 mm, the X5 is an expansive five door SUV with a monocoque chassis standing at a respectable 2070 kgs. This calls for large wheels and the tyre specifications are 285/35 R21 in the front and 325/30 R21 at the back.
