  2. Description Today, we are going to discuss five iOS Roadrunner email problems along with possible solutions in this presentation.

  3. Apple mail loading too slowly • There are a number of users who are getting problem in loading RR emailon apple mail app and they find no reason for this problem. Some of the possible solutions are:

  4. Re-install the mail app: Click on mail app and keep it pressed until you find a drop-down menu. You will find ‘x’ icon to delete. After some time, install the new version of the app from apple store. • Remove roadrunner webmail account and add it again: For this, go to ‘Settings’ followed by ‘Passwords’. Select Roadrunner account and delete from there.

  5. Email not refreshing on iPhone, iPad • In case, your email doesn’t get refreshed on iPhone, follow the below-mentioned steps. • Click to fetch new data: Go to settings, then on ‘Accounts and password’ section. Here, you will find ‘Fetch new data’ option. You must ensure that you have enabled push for emails.

  6. Check internet connection: Check if the network is working properly on your iPhone or not. If not, then reset the network. • Use third-party mail: If you are still getting the same problem, then it is recommended to download third-party mail app on your iPhone from the apple store. You can use apps like Microsoft outlook, exchange.

  7. Email notification not popping up on the locked screen • If you have recently updated the OS version of your iPhone, then you may run into email notification problem on locked screen. • Check mail notification: Open Settings> Mails> Notifications. Here you will find ‘Roadrunner’ account. Don’t forget to enable ‘Notification’ option from here. • Do not disturb: With Do not disturb option enabled, you can’t receive mail notification on locked screen, so turn it off.

  8. iOS 11 mail keep on asking for a password • This problem occurs due to the problem in RR maildevelopment. The problem is not related to device but to the developer. Anyway, you can try the following tips.

  9. Delete a user account and add it back: Go to settings followed by Accounts and passwords. Remove your road runner web mailaccount which keeps on asking the password again and again. If prompted to delete from outlook or other platforms as well, then click ‘Yes’. • Restart your device: If you know the online process to restart your phone, then it’s Ok otherwise press the power button of the phone and wait for 2 seconds. Click on power off option. • Enable SMTP and IMAP in webmail: Open web version of your roadrunner email account and configure the SMTP settings in it.

  10. iOS 11 emails won't delete • There are some users who are getting the problem by deleting the emails from there OS version 11 or not being able to move a message from one folder to another. For this follow the below mentioned steps.

  11. Tap on ‘Settings’. • Open ‘Account and password’ option. Click on Roadrunner email account. • Open advanced option from the bottom of page. Go to ‘Drafts mailbox’. Don’t forget to click on ‘On the server’ option instead of clicking on ‘On my phone’. • Repeat second step for mailbox. • Go to account info and click on ‘Done’.
