  2. WHAT IS SURROGACY AND IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?  Surrogacy is essentially a provision, which is guided by a legal agreement, between two parties. In this agreement, a woman agrees to become pregnant, carry the pregnancy to due term, and give birth to a baby, all of this for another person, who are or will ultimately become the parent and caretaker of the newborn baby. In this process the surrogate women can be or cannot be (gestational surrogacy) the genetic mother of the baby. She agrees to deliver the baby as per agreement and hand over the baby immediately after the birth. Surrogacy is gaining popularity in the countries where adoption is very stricter process where people do not want to get entangled into it. Women choose surrogacy as they are unable to conceive or carry a pregnancy to full term. There is no fear in going for surrogacy if you have failed ivf attempts or not able to conceive. W W W .
