Here let’s know about the special festival celebrated by Rakesh and his wife Rupalben Rajdev. Hindus regard the festival of Navratri with great significance and in India this festival is celebrated in many ways. But the dates of this festival may change each year according to the Hindu Lunar calendar. The festival usually starts in March/April and again in September/October.
During the Navratri festival, the nine goddesses are worshipped for nine days. Rakesh Rajdev celebrated this festival along with the practice of charity. Rakesh Bhai Rajdev has supported countless families who couldn’t fulfil their basic needs in life.
The Rajdev family run a social welfare organization namely Kanuda Mitra Mandal. Through this organization, they have undertaken countless families and helped them lead better lives. Each year during this time, Rakesh and his spouse Rupalben Rajdev organize special events for the young girls since they are considered as the form of the goddess Durga.
This year, Rakesh and his family planned this event at Fun World Amusement Park in Rajkot to make it more wonderful and filled with fun. They invited thousands of small kids who are from labour families and couldn’t afford such enjoyment. Rakesh helped them get free rides in the amusement park and offered them sweets and snacks which they love such as ice creams, popcorn and cold drinks. Also, Rakesh Rajdev offered them educational kits which contains school bags, lunch boxes and water bottles to support their education. These were offered as a donation in the memory of late mother of Rakesh Bhai Rajdev, Vimlaben.
