KLM - Designed by eminent interior designer HellaJongerius, KLM’s business class cabins are all about luxury and comfort. Inspired by its immediate surroundings, in a manner of speaking, the Milky Way; the cabins are done up in a palette of neutral colors blue, purple, grey, brown and white. The Dutch designer along with her team at Jongeriuslab evolved with this palette because light conditions and temperatures above the clouds makes all colors lean towards red. These colors also help create the illusion of space. What’s impressive is that this luxury interior design also incorporates sustainability; for instance, the floor carpets have been made from recycled uniforms.

Upholstered in the softest grey fabric with an accent of bright green, the seats are fully equipped for comfort with a reading lamp, a table and a TV screen and the footstools have been substituted by sofas.
