  1. Hoe los ik deze opgave op? Stap 1. Wat is het einddoel van de opgave? De gemiddelde snelheid bepalen. (snelheid is afstand per tijd)

  2. Stap 2. Hoe wordt het einddoel weergegeven? • In kilometers per uur (km/u). • Afgerond op 1 decimaal.

  3. Stap 3. Wat weet je van het wereldrecord? Afstand: 100 m Tijd: 9,58 sec.

  4. Stap 4. Wat is de snelheid in meters per seconde? (m/s) 100 : 9,58 = 10,438…….. m/s.

  5. 37,6 Stap 5. Omrekenen naar kilometer per uur. (km/u) 1 km = 1000 m en 1 uur is 3600 sec. (1m is 1/1000 km) Snelheid was: 10,438…….. m/s. 10,438 x 3600 = 37576,8 meter per uur. 37576,8 : 1000 = 37,5769 kilometer per uur. Afgerond: 37,5769 = 37,6 kilometer per uur.
