Stainless Steel Passivation Process consists of removing iron from the surface and encouraging the development of a passive protective film. Passivation increases the corrosion resistance of stainless steel, helping it to stay rust-free for much longer.   3. CitriSurf 2310 and CitriSurf 77 Plus are the most reliable removal and passivation products for on-site and large item jobs. The CitriSurf77 Plus is a liquid for easy spray application, and the CitriSurf2310 is a thicker version of gel for a spray or brush application that sticks well to vertical surfaces and tubing/pipe exteriors and is also great for weld joints. • We also offer CitriSurf 2325 for the removal of rust from bulk quantities of parts in a bath or the interior of huge tanks and piping systems using CIP operations. • Rust Rescue 200 • Rust Rescue 100 • The Rust Rescue products are not a surface sealant or coating, but a material that flows into any pores, pits, crevices, and other deep surface features to help protect them from corrosion-inducing air and moisture, and other deep surface features to help protect them from corrosion-inducing air and moisture.
