Sales representatives schedule pick-ups (orders/deliveries) and a logistics manager coordinates routes for maximum effectiveness and efficiency. We document, de-install, pack and load all assets being purchased or disposed of and obtain a customer sign-off prior to departure. Our dedicated trucks service the entire Silicon Valley and Central California.   3. EPA Compliance • Remitek is a participant in the State of California’s Covered Electronic Waste Payment System. We have extensive experience in IT equipment handling, collection, transportation, recycling, dismantling, disposal and our practices exceed the standard of being environmentally sound. All recycling, dismantling and processing of e-waste is performed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner as mandated by the Electronic Waste and Recycling Act of 2003 (SB 20 and subsequent legislation SB 50) and subject to all guidelines listed by the DTSC and CIWMB 9 for approved recyclers.   4. Downstream Tractability • The receiving platform at Remitek consists of a secure receiving station in which equipment is received, audited and processed. All e-waste and related materials are unloaded and sorted inside of Remitek’s facility. The subsequent coordinating and matching of the sheets is in place as a system of checks and balance to ensure the accuracy of the delivery. Our staging team then conduct a comprehensive audit on behalf of the client which allows them to receive a breakdown of equipment in the form of a finalized downloadable audit report.   5. Data Security • All devices with data (such as hard drives) are removed and wiped or shredded in strict compliance utilizing Department of Defense standards. Our data and product destruction services go through a documented and transparent process allowing the client to review audit reports of all that’s been destroyed. We utilize state-of-the-art data erasure software that is compliant with the most stringent US and international data security standards and physically shred all data containing materials at the point of the clients request.
