2 EVENTS OPPORTUNITIES Other types of FIVB events ? Promoters may host other types of events such as Exhibitions, Country vs. Country, King/Queen of the beach, Gala, Festival, etc. upon sending to the FIVB the WT/04 b in due time Gala. An event to be staged at the end of the season to reward players, organizers, Host TV broadcasters, etc. This event should be eventually staged in a glamorous location with the participation of the VIP/Celebrities. Entertainment programs are strongly recommended and a minimum TV Broadcasting should be foreseen by the potential organizer. Festival. All conditions, concessions, fees etc. must be agreed and authorized by the FIVB beforehand ? All promoters are asked to submit to the FIVB for approval a proposal relating to the above event they wish to promote at least two months before the start of the competition Other types of FIVB events Other types of FIVB events: Continental BVB Cup & FIVB BVB World Cup ?The FIVB and its affiliate Continental Confederations have launched a new tournament cycle included in the Olympic Qualification system. The Continental Beach Volleyball Cup aims to develop Beach Volleyball on a worldwide basis and to provide an opportunity for as many teams and National Federation as possible to experience the dream of participating in the Olympic Qualification process. The sub-zone phase of the Continental Beach Volleyball Cup, managed by the Continental Confederations, will commence in July 2010, leading to the zone phase and subsequently the Continental Beach Volleyball Cup Finals (18-24, 2012 simultaneously in 5 Continents). ? The winning team/county of each Continental Beach Volleyball Cup Final will not only qualify for the 2012 OG in London but also be celebrated at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Cup Final tournament where they determine the best country across all Continents. Furthermore, for each Continent the 2 best teams/countries not yet qualified for the OG through the World Ranking or Continental Beach Volleyball Cup Finals will compete at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Cup Olympic Qualification tournament, sanctioned by the FIVB, to obtain the last 2 vacancies for the 2012 Olympic Games.
